Terms Of Service

Effective Date: October 24, 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all bookings and services provided by Sky High Events (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“Client,” “you,” “your”). By submitting a booking inquiry, signing a contract, or paying an invoice, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Sky High Events provides event décor and coordination services, including:

  • Balloon décor and garlands
     

  • Backdrops
     

  • Centerpieces
     

  • 3D letters and custom props
     

  • Full venue design packages (including balloon décor, concierge services, and catering)
     

Each service is customized to fit the client’s event theme, venue, schedule, and needs.

2. Booking

Bookings are made through our inquiry form, followed by a contract and invoice sent via email.


A 50% deposit is required to secure your event date. Your booking is not confirmed until both the deposit and the signed contract are received.

Discounts:

  • 15% off for first-time clients only

  • 10% off if paid in full on the date of booking

3. Payments

The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date.


Failure to submit full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services, with no refund of the deposit.

 

Payments are processed securely via Stripe unless otherwise arranged. 

 

If using a one of our third-party payment method partners, including Klarna or Afterpay(CashApp Pay) additional fees may be required.

4. Cancellations & Repayments

Clients may cancel for the following refunds:

  • Full refund if canceled within 24 hours after booking

  • 50% refund for deposits and/or full payments if canceled within 7 days after booking

  • No refund available 10 days after booking
     

Clients may reschedule once, provided they give at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.

All cancellations or reschedules must be submitted in writing via email to sky.high.balloon.25@gmail.com.

5. Setup, Delivery, & Breakdown

Sky High Events provides delivery, setup, and breakdown for all booked décor packages.


Access to the venue must be granted up to 6 hours before the event start time, depending on your package.


Clients are responsible for ensuring the venue is ready and accessible at the agreed setup time.

6. Damages & Loss

Clients are responsible for the care of all décor, props, and rentals while in use during their event.


If items are lost, damaged, or destroyed, clients may incur additional fees for repair or replacement.

7. Photos & Media

Sky High Events may take photos and videos of your event setup for marketing, social media, and portfolio use.


By booking with us, you grant permission for these images to be used publicly unless you explicitly opt out in writing before your event date.

8. Liability

Sky High Events is not liable for any:

  • Delays or service interruptions caused by weather, traffic, venue restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control.
     

  • Injuries, damages, or losses arising from client or guest actions.
     

Our responsibility is limited to the value of services provided under your signed contract.

9. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our customized décor services, the necessity of coordinating with external parties (such as venues, restaurants, and caterers), and the significant labor involved in both preparation and setup, all sales are final once services are rendered.

 

No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction related to artistic interpretation or minor variations from mockups or proposals.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
